Today, our kindergarten, first, and second graders officially began meeting with their Class Families, which include our wonderful students from Rogers Middle School! The groups jumped right into a book study of I Forgive Alex, practiced sharing their thinking, and engaged in a "Would You Rather" game to help everyone connect.
These activities were a valuable opportunity for students to practice being effective communicators, one of the core elements of the Affton Portrait of a Graduate. We look forward to a year of building strong friendships and learning across grade levels! π
