Mrs. Sutterfield’s second graders had an out-of-this-world day of learning as they explored the Artemis II mission! 🚀🌕

Students read all about the mission and the Orion spacecraft, building their understanding of how astronauts travel to and from the moon. To bring their learning to life, they took on a hands-on challenge—designing their own heat shields to protect their “astronaut crayons” from melting as they re-entered Earth’s atmosphere!

We love seeing our students think like scientists and engineers while having so much fun along the way. Way to go, second grade! 👩‍🚀🧑‍🚀✨

Mesnier students had a fantastic time celebrating Career Week! 🎉✨ From exploring different jobs to learning about future opportunities, it was a week full of curiosity, excitement, and big dreams. 💜

Second grade had an awesome Career Day filled with hands-on learning and inspiration! 💡✨ Students explored careers in science, public safety, healthcare, skilled trades, and community outreach—sparking big dreams for the future. Thank you to our amazing presenters for making the day so meaningful! 💜

Mrs. Pluff’s "Junior Doctors" are diving deep into the world of healthcare! Students are getting the unique opportunity to explore various medical career paths and meet one-on-one with real-world professionals. From Paramedics and Nurses to Lab Directors, Dentists, and Physical Therapists, our students are choosing four paths to follow and learning what it takes to save lives and help others. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️🚑

Shoutout to our TOP 5 fundraising classrooms 💜 Mrs. Conkwright, Ms. Thomas, Mrs. Heuring, Mrs. Garner, and Mrs. Sexton kicked off the day with an inflatable race—what a fun way to celebrate! 🏁 🏆 Mrs. Conkwright took the win! 🎉

Second grade brought the energy to our Fun Run! 🏃‍♂️💨💜 So many smiles, laughs, and laps! 😄🎉 We are so thankful for our amazing families—because of your support, we didn’t just meet our goal…we EXCEEDED it! 🙌💥 All students also enjoyed a Kona Ice treat!

Mesnier students explored the world in a BIG way today with the Earth Dome! 🌍 This giant, walk-through globe brought geography to life as students stepped inside to learn about continents, oceans, and how our world connects. Such a fun and memorable learning experience for our students.

Not all heroes wear capes—some just carry a walkie-talkie and keep our school in tip-top shape! 🎙️

Mesnier students arrived this morning to find hallways lined with "DO NOT TOUCH: WET PAINT" signs. Our students did an amazing job following directions and keeping their hands off the walls all day—only to find out it was a prank!
