Welcome to the Affton School District! If your child will turn five (5) on or before July 31, 2025, it’s time to get ready for kindergarten. Registration for the 2025-26 school year opens Monday, January 27, 2025, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way. 💜
What You’ll Need to Register
To make the process as smooth as possible, please have the following ready:
Proof of Age: A state-issued birth certificate, passport, or I-94 card
Proof of Residency: Two documents, such as a real estate tax receipt, lease, and utility bill
Immunization Records: Required by Missouri state law before school begins
Additional Documents (if applicable): Custody papers or an IEP if your child receives special education services
Note: All required documents must be submitted before your child can be officially registered.
Health Requirements
To ensure a healthy start to school, these documents will also be needed:
Physical Exam Form (completed by your doctor)
Dental Checkup Form (submit after your child’s next visit)
Lead Screening Form (send to St. Louis County Health Department, 6121 North Hanley Road, Berkeley, MO 63134)
