Dear Mesnier Families,

We are excited for The Story Pirates to visit our second grade students on Monday to present their Story Creation Zone, a hilarious interactive storytelling assembly and to talk about their new book "Stuck in the Stone Age". Just a reminder, there will be no school on Friday for a professional development and records day for teachers.  

We are looking for donations of sport drink bottle caps and dish detergent caps like the ones in the picture. If you have any please save and send to school.

APC Meeting

The Affton Parents Club (APC) meeting has been rescheduled from March 13th to March 20th.  It will be held at Rogers Middle School at 7 pm. The APC is looking to fill vacant positions.  Please consider being a part of this wonderful organization.

This month we are learning how to seek first to understand then to be understood.

First grade students in Mrs. Sanders’ class  use Chatter Pix to publish their poems.


The greens planted in the tower garden weeks ago were finally ready to be cut.  The fresh greens were donated to FEED MY PEOPLE in hopes that others can enjoy them.

Students enjoyed National School Breakfast week last week.
