Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering in our school. Volunteering can take many forms and we appreciate the help that our volunteers give us to support the work of our school. We value our volunteers and we hope you will enjoy working with us.

Our Library Volunteers work with the librarian by assisting children in the check-out process in the library. The volunteer may also aid students in locating books for pleasure or research. If interested, contact Jeniffer Ackerman at 314-849-5566.

Class Room
Cougar Club Connection, our tutor volunteers, work with students in a one-on-one situation which might include tutoring basic skills, listening to the student, assisting with book reports, facilitating independent projects, or supporting the completion of assignments.

Junior Achievement
Our Junior Achievement Program is presented during the second semester. We need a volunteer for each classroom – Kindergarten through Second Grade. This involves a commitment of five 30 minute sessions. All materials and lesson plans are provided by Jr. Achievement. If interested, contact Mesnier at 314-849-5566.
